Cyrkulara was formed in 2020 in Vsetín and has been working with original Czech-language music from the beginning. Their sound is rooted in big beat, enriched with elements of punk and hard rock. The result is a direct style based on melody and energy.
Formation and lineup
The core of the band consists of Jiří Kůdela, Jaroslav Horkel and Martin Medvecký. This trio defines the direction the band has taken since its formation.
Over time, the rhythm section has changed – after the departure of Michal Floreš and Karel Škrabánek, the current lineup includes bassist Jakub Lušovský and drummer Marek Machalec. The current formation builds on the original foundation while bringing new energy.
Releases
Following the debut album “Top Secret” in 2022, the band released the EP “Pro pár špinavých zlaťáků” in 2024.
Their latest material, the EP “Inženýři z Maranella” from 2026, reflects the band’s current direction.
Music
Cyrkulara’s music is built on Czech lyrics and catchy melodies supported by a classic instrumental setup.
